What does "activations" mean?

Activations refer to the number of devices or servers where the package can be installed, and each device has its own domain.

For example:
- site.test – Local development environment.
- staging-server – Staging environment, such as for CI/CD pipelines or testing.
- production-server – The live, production environment.

If you're using multiple subdomains on the same server, they count as one activation. However, if you deploy to separate servers, you will need the unlimited plan.

For multi-tenant or SaaS applications:
If all tenants are hosted on the same server and the same app, this counts as a single activation.

what will happen after one year

You can move the package from the vendor folder to the app directory and update the composer path. This way, you won’t need to renew the subscription, though you will lose access to plugin updates.
